Here is a field of sunflowers. I took this last night as the sun was setting behind me. This is what our neighborhood looks like this time of year, fields and fields of flowers.

Well today I got done with school a WHOLE lot earlier, especially compared to yesterday. And it feels good to be done with school and know you have the rest of the day to do whatever. But yet when I finish school later in the day it feels like I have so much to do and never get it all accomplished, but when I get school done early I have too much time on my hands and don't know what to do. Anyway, so I said I'd tell about going to Florida later on. So I'll tell you now. So we're leaving in 2 weeks to go to Florida. My Nana moved there in December (from living here for 29 years) and we haven't seen her since. Anyway, so we're going down there to see her. It's sort of a second vacation (this year). It'll be fun. This will be my first time seeing the ocean. I'm hoping we can go to the ocean one time during sunset-sunrise (preferably both, a couple times to make sure I get some great ones and have a selection) and get some cool shots. I made sure I got me a 1 GB camera card for my camera, so I can take lots of pictures.All of our family are going, we're going to fly (no more driving please; we did 3,900 miles and 90 hours driving on our most recent vacation). My parents are staying for 5 days and then after they leave we're going with Nana and Papa down to Sea World, etc. for a few days. And then after we've been there 2 weeks we're going to fly back home with Nana. So we'll have 3 whole weeks with Nana! I'm really looking forward to it! Anyway, thats it about our plans for Florida! SCHOOL!

Man, today it took me forever to do school. After 5 actuall hours of studying spread out over 7 hours, I am so tired and ready for the day to end. . I finally finished, did dishes, cleaned up, and now I'm here. Not much else, but I thought I'd share some pictures with you. These are from our vacation, one month ago. And I can't believe it was already that long ago. How time flies! I must be having fun, even through school!

Anyway, here are our pictures from vacation!

This is a deer that I saw in Montana on short walk that my best friend and I took. I actually got 2-3 feet away and took 17 pictures of her. It was an awesome experience, and I was so glad I had brought my camera along on that walk. We were attending a Family Campmeeting there with some friends.

Here is a Buffalo in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. This guy was just grazing along on the side of the road. My dad took this picture and then later realized he had been wearing a red shirt. Yikes! This is one of my favorite pictures from the entire vacatoin! It's of a lake (or river, I don't know which) in Glacier National Park, Montana, USA. This rock formation is called Shiprock and is found in New Mexico near the Northwestern corner/Farmington. This is Balancing Rock, which is found in Arches National Park near Moab, Utah. And here we have a waterfall flowing right above and then under the road on the Road to the Sun in Glacier National Park, Montana, USA.

Flowers and Barns

On Friday our quintet, "One Voice," was asked to do special music at church the following day. It was kind of short notice especially considering that 2/5 of out quintet (as well as our guitarist) were gone on vacation. So I had to quickly find a song that was easy for us to sing and that I could play along with on my guitar (as I don't know all the chords yet). I finally decided on the song "Shout to the Lord" and we all happened to know it by heart!

So on Sabbath we went to Church (Sabbath and Church) and we sang our song for the church service. We go to the East Mountain Seventh-day Adventist Church. Our church currently is in the process of "building" so we are meeting at a local school for now. So each week we have to "haul" our "equimpment" in, set up, and break down when we finish. After church we took everything down, loaded up and went home.

At home we ate lunch and geared up for a hike. But as we were driving to where we were going hiking, we stopped at some friends house and ended up talking for about 2 hours. That delayed and shortned our hike by quite a bit. By the time we finished talking (I kept hinting we needed to go) it was late and our hike was very short. We didn't even make it to the waterfall up ahead. I had left the cell phone in the car and when I got back there was a missed call from a friend. So I called him back and talked on the way home. On Sunday morning we got up early and went and took pictures of a old barn falling down among acres of sunflowers. With the sun just barely coming up behind us, we took pictures of the sun shimmering acorss the flowers. Monday, back to school time! And thats about it!
